Rebel® rooftop offers effective dehumidification in a retail environment
Did you know that packaged rooftop systems can only deliver effective dehumidification when their compressors are actively running? As a result, the on/off cycling of non-inverter compressors reduces humidity control. Like a light switch, these compressors are either on or turned off. Not with Rebel!

The integrated, embedded technology in our rooftop solution modulates tightly at user-established setpoints during both full and part-load conditions. The Rebel’s inverter compressor modulation then delivers steady moisture regulation for the in-store retail environment.

Rebel is well-equipped to provide the dehumidification your store needs. It offers two-point temperature control, which uses the cooling coil to remove the moisture from the air and the integral modulating hot gas reheat coil to comfortably moderate the temperature and not overcool the space.

Trailblazer® air-cooled scroll chiller offers Heat Recovery option to decrease indoor humidity
You may already know that the heat recovery option on the Trailblazer air-cooled chiller bolsters energy efficiency, saving both energy and money. But did you know that the same technology is also an effective form of dehumidification?

AGZ-E Trailblazer air-cooled scroll chiller has the flexibility to be used for a variety of comfort cooling applications, even those requiring dehumidification. With the new factory-installed heat recovery option (also known as a desuperheater), Trailblazer not only delivers cold water but also the hot water needed for effective dehumidification.

The desuperheater option works by diverting hot refrigerant gas normally sent to the condenser into two heat exchangers.  Simultaneously, the water to be used for dehumidification is sent to the same heat exchangers and picks up the heat from the hot refrigerant gas. The hot water is then sent to reheat coils to be used for dehumidification. Because the heat used for the reheat process is recycled from the waste heat of the chiller, it is more energy efficient than heating the water with a boiler—and saves you from an additional piece of equipment!

From Midwest dormitories to Florida hospitals, the process is extremely effective for those living, working and gathering in spaces located in high humidity zones.
